How can you tell if you are actually good at improvised character voices? or do you just have your normal voice… and one silly one?
Whether you’re a voice actor, an improviser, or a Dungeon Master for DnD, range, control, and consistency are key. In this video, I give a quick 3-question diagnostic to test your Character Voice skills.
We look at the three pillars of a solid character voice:
1. **Range:** Can you reliably access at least 3 distinct voices?
2. **Control:** Can you tweak pitch or resonance without losing the character?
3. **Consistency:** Do you have a “anchor phrase” to get you back on track when you slip?
Let’s see how you score!
